Eric Atkinson, a Texas Land Specialist and Auctioneer, is a native of South Texas, an avid outdoorsman and a perfect choice as your next real estate agent or auctioneer. Eric was born in Corpus Christi and was raised in Odem. Having grown up on a small cattle ranch and helping other local farmers and ranchers from an early age, Eric has a passion for the lifestyle and the people, properties, and equipment involved in it. Eric has been involved in rodeo and traveled throughout Texas and surrounding states since his early teenage years, competing in calf roping, steer wrestling, and his favorite sport of all, team roping.

Today he is still an avid team roper, and also enjoys hunting and saltwater fishing, especially with his wife, Aubrey, and their son, Nixon. His background and hobbies are of significant value to his real estate and auction businesses, as his clients benefit from his knowledge and experience related to recreational and specialty properties in Texas, as well as an array of agriculture and construction equipment.

Eric is a licensed auctioneer and owns Atkinson Auctioneers, a professional auction company based just outside of Corpus Christi, Texas. Specializing in consignment auctions consisting of construction, agriculture, and farm and ranch equipment, as well as real estate auctions, company liquidations, retirement auctions, benefits/fundraisers, and more. His auction client database has proven useful to his real estate clients in multiple occasions where an auction client happened to be in the market for a property he had listed. This serves as a huge asset to Eric’s real estate clients, as he can provide a “one stop shop” approach to his clients needing to liquidate their real estate and personal property assets.

Eric attended South West Texas Junior College in Uvalde, Texas, where he gained a wealth of knowledge about range and wildlife management. While living in Uvalde, he also worked for several Southwest Texas hunting, cattle, and horse ranches, which increased his interest and appreciation for farm and ranch real estate and equipment.

Eric’s passion for buying and selling just about anything began when he was young. After starting with livestock, he then began buying and selling trucks, trailers and equipment of all kinds. After finding success with this hobby, Eric pursued a business as an auctioneer and real estate agent. Eric can also provide personal property appraisals for his clients on agriculture, construction, and other heavy equipment needing valuations.
